Direct service bed and breakfast
Article 1 10 place de la Liberté 30430 Barjac.
Guests will receive the warmest of welcomes. The owner undertakes to welcome them personally with all due attention to facilitate their stay and knowledge of the region.
Article 2 - Length of stay The customer who signs this contract for a fixed period may not, under any circumstances, claim any right to remain in the premises.
Article 3 - Conclusion of the contract The reservation becomes effective once the customer has sent the owner a deposit of 25 % of the total price of the stay with a minimum of one night per room booked and a copy of the contract signed before the date indicated on the front. The second copy of the contract must be kept by the customer. Prices include all charges according to the description, but exclude tourist tax.
Article 4 - No right of withdrawal For bookings made by post, telephone or internet, the tenant does not benefit from the withdrawal period, in accordance with article L121-21-8 of the French Consumer Code, relating in particular to accommodation services provided on a specific date or at a specific time.
Article 5 - Cancellation by the customer : All cancellations must be notified to the owner by letter or e-mail.
a) Cancellation before the start of the holiday: if the cancellation is made more than 7 days before the start of the holiday, the deposit will be retained by the owner.
If the cancellation is made less than 7 days before the start of the stay, the deposit will be retained by the owner, who will also request payment of the balance of the price of the stay.
b) If the customer does not show up before 7 p.m. on the day scheduled for the start of the stay, this contract becomes null and void and the owner may dispose of his guest rooms. The deposit remains the property of the owner, who reserves the right to claim the balance of the price of the stay.
c) In the event of a shortened stay, the price corresponding to the initial stay is retained in full by the owner.
Any additional services not used will be reimbursed.
Article 6 - Cancellation by the owner Cancellation: If the owner cancels the holiday before the start of the holiday, he must inform the customer by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt. Without prejudice to any claims for damages, the customer will be reimbursed immediately for any sums paid. They will also receive compensation at least equal to the penalty they would have paid if the cancellation had been their fault on that date.
Article 7 - Arrival Arrival: The customer must arrive on the day and at the time specified on this contract. In the event of late or delayed arrival, the customer must inform the owner.
Article 8 - Payment of the balance The balance must be paid at least 24 hours before arrival.
Article 9 - Tourist tax Tourist tax is a local tax that customers must pay to the owner, who then passes it on to the Treasury.
Article 10 - Use of the premises The customer must respect the peaceful nature of the premises and use them in accordance with their intended purpose. They undertake to return the rooms in good condition. Any loss of the keys to the room and/or the ground floor entrance door will be billed at €50 to the customer. The house is non-smoking, with dedicated areas outside.
Article 11 - Capacity The present contract is drawn up for a specific number of people. If the number of guests exceeds this number, the owner is entitled to refuse additional guests. This refusal can in no way be considered as a modification or a breach of the contract at the initiative of the owner, so that in the event of the departure of a greater number of clients than those refused, no reimbursement can be envisaged.
Article 12 - Animals The present contract specifies whether or not the customer may stay with a pet. If the customer fails to comply with this clause, the owner may refuse the animals. This refusal can in no way be considered as a modification or a breach of contract on the owner's initiative, so that in the event of the customer's departure, no reimbursement can be considered.
Article 13 - Disputes Any claim relating to the rental will be dealt with by the competent court, i.e. the Court of Nîmes.
Article 14 - Insurance The hirer is responsible for all damage caused by him/her. He must be insured.
Article 15 - Payment of charges Water and electricity charges are included in the rental price for normal use. In the event of abnormal use, the charges may be billed back to the tenant.
